 | Adrian Barnes MSc, D.O. qualified as an osteopath at the British School of Osteopathy in 1978. Since then he has combined a career in osteopathic private practice with a career in osteopathic education.He owns two osteopathic practices in the south-east of England.
He was a technique lecturer at the BSO and led the technique/practical skills teaching team for 18 years. More recently he was the Coordinator of Postgraduate education at the BSO and was closely involved in the development of the MSc in Paediatric Osteopathy. He has been a visiting lecturer in osteopathic technique at a number of osteopathic educational institutions both in the UK and overseas.

He took up the post of Principal of the European School of Osteopathy on 10th April 2007.
Adrian studied part-time for an MSc in Osteopathic Care from 1997-2000 during which time he became interested in the philosophy of medicine and healthcare. He is a member of the European Society for Philosophy of Medicine and Healthcare and has attended several ESPMH conferences |
